Limit the number of login attempts possible both through normal login as well as using auth cookies. Limit Login Attempts blocks an Internet address from making further attempts after a specified limit on retries is reached, making a brute-force attack difficult or impossible.
Step 1: First of all log in to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2: Go to Appearance>> Plugins.
Step 3: Click on Add New at the top.
Step 5: Type ” Limit Login Attempts ” in the search box and click on “Search”
Step 6: Click on “Install Now Step 7: and Activate it.
Log out and check if the unauthorized user tries to log in your website it’s Login Attempt Limit.
2. Throw Offline Installation
Step 1: Download WordPress .org click here
Step 2: After log into the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 3: Go to Appearance>>Plugins>Add New.
Step 4: Click on Upload Plugin.
Step 5: Upload recently downloaded a file via the web interface
Step 6: Now Click on install and active.
